Description

Who can request accommodations?

  • Students holding a disability certificate with a degree of 33% or higher who believe they may require adjustments and/or accommodations.
  • Students without a disability certificate who present physical, sensory, neurocognitive, and/or psychological conditions that are properly diagnosed (e.g., mental health issues, severe chronic illness, etc.).
  • Students who have educational or academic documentation of accommodations in university entrance exams or previous studies (such as an Individualized High School Plan).

How to request accommodations?

You must submit an accommodation request through the Electronic Office. Once submitted, we will contact you (within a maximum of 20 days) to schedule an assessment interview.

Please note that accommodations require processing time, so it is important to request them well in advance (in the case of exam accommodations, at least three weeks prior). If you contact us later, we cannot guarantee that accommodations will be applied.

It is essential to provide at least one of the following documents. Attach all documentation that may help us assess your needs:

  • Full disability certificate with a degree equal to or greater than 33%. It must include the resolution and technical report (which details the conditions under which the individual was assessed), and it must be valid at the time of the accommodation request.
  • Resolution of accommodations granted for university entrance exams.
  • Educational or academic documentation justifying the claimed support needs, such as the Individualized High School Plan.
  • Diagnostic report of the medical, psychological, or neurodevelopmental condition, issued within the last three years for chronic or permanent conditions (e.g., dyslexia, ASD, epilepsy) or within the last six months for conditions with variable progression (e.g., anxiety disorders, depression, eating disorders).
