Centres electoral boards

Article 185 of the UAB Statutes

1. Centres electoral boards shall have the same powers as the General Electoral Board within their respective constituencies.

2. The centre electoral board is composed of five members: the centre secretary, who is an ex officio member and serves as chair; one member of the permanent academic staff; one member of the non-permanent academic staff; one student; and one member of the technical, management, and administrative and service staff. These members are selected by lot every two years from among the members of the centre. Each member of the board must have a substitute.

3. Decisions of the centre electoral boards may be appealed to the General Electoral Board.
