Application for curricular adaptations and learning process resources
The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, as a public higher education institution committed to the principles of equality, equity and social justice, is passionately committed to fostering the inclusion of students with specific educational support needs (SEND) so that they can participate fully in university life on an equal opportunities basis.
Who can apply
Students with specific educational support needs who consider they may require adjustments or adaptations. There is no need to submit an application if the adjustments involve extended exam time (up to 25%), a change of classroom or seating for sensory reasons (equipment only), or a one-off change of exam date or assignment submission deadline. Further information about how to proceed can be found on the Equality and Diversity Service website.
Documentation to be presented
- If available, a disability certificate and/or documentation proving your need (individualised baccalaureate study plan, diagnostic report, etc.). In relation to the diagnostic report, this has to be current (with an issue date of less than three years prior).
Information about the procedure
- Follow the link and select the digital identification type you would like to use.
- Fill in your details, attach the specific form for the procedure chosen and any other supporting documentation.
- Validate and send.
- You will receive proof of application, which will be automatically registered.

- Sign your application (by hand).
- Register your application at any of the registry offices at the UAB in person.
