Application for access to public information
Through this procedure you can apply for the right to access public information belonging to the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
People with digital identification who are interested in applying for the right to access public information belonging to the UAB, must follow the following instructions:

- Select the digital identification type you want to use.
- Clearly indicate your contact details, preferably in an email.
- Please indicate in the field I Request, how you would like to receive the information (on paper/electronically). This procedure will be free if the details are available for consultation, or if they are available in electronic format. Issuing copies or changes to format may incur charges.
- Please select one of the following options:
- Fill in all the field of the form, attach the documentation, if applicable, and send.
- You will receive proof of application, which will be automatically registered.

- Must be generated without any viruses or any other malicious codes.
- Must be able to be visualised and printed without using a password.
- Must use one of the following formats: jpg, .jpeg, .odt, .odp, .ods, .docx, .xlsx, .pptx, .pdf, .png, .rtf, .svg, .tiff, .txt, .xsig, .xml
To improve the efficiency of the IT platforms and available communication channels, the size of attached documents is limited to a maximum of 5 MB, and a maximum of 5 documents may be attached.
People interested in applying for the right of access to public information from the UAB, in person, must follow the following instructions:

- Fill in the application form for access to information.
- Please write using a computer or a pen only, in capital or printed letters.
- Clearly indicate your contact details, preferably in an email.
- Please indicate which format (paper/electronic) you would like to receive the information in. This procedure will be free if the details are available for consultation, or if they are available in electronic format. Issuing copies or changes to the format may incur charges.
- Print out the form, sign it and hand it to UAB Registry.
You can also hand in the form using any of the methods set out in article 16.4 of the Law 39/2015 of 1 d'october on Common Administrative Procedures in Public Administration.

The UAB transparency portal complies with Law 19/2014 on Transparency and Good Governance, informing both the university community and society about the university's activities and results. This portal provides information about institutional organisation, core activities (teaching, research, and knowledge transfer), people, economic data, public procurement, participation, and good governance.
